HMUS 525 - Civil Rights History 3 s.h. This course explores selected topics from the history of civil rights struggles in the United States. Students read major works of civil rights history and complete a substantial research project using primary and secondary sources. The topics will be selected on the basis of the materials available and the interests of the students. Prerequisite(s): Permission of the instructor and the director is required for students not enrolled in CGP.
