MUSC 4192 - Audio Arts Production IV 3 s.h.

This class is rooted in studio session work and a more advanced exploration of music technology and audio arts. Aspects of recording, production, advanced editing, sound imaging, processing, microphone recording techniques, computer and electronic composition, and mix-down of creative works will be explored. Multi-channel audio and mastering will also be covered. The course will make use of DAWs (Digital Audio Workstations) including Ableton Live and Pro Tools. Includes the use of the recording lab and weekly studio times. A-E Only. Offered Fall and Spring.
