This 6 s.h. requirement can be satisfied several ways, including study in a foreign country (e.g. OVER 3700 or a faculty-led program), an internship (INTS 4697 or POLS 4697 ) with substantial responsibilities dealing with international affairs, or a similar applied learning experience (e.g. POLS 3796 or POLS 3800 ), provided these study hours are fulfilled at the 3000 level or higher. Students are encouraged to work closely with the Political Science department to ensure that the proposed experience meets program requirements.
