Special Requirements and Restrictions

1. Enrollment in any music ensemble or in applied music study may require a performance audition.
2. A Theory Placement Test must be completed prior to initial enrollment in any Music Theory course beyond MUSC 139 .
3. A performance audition is required for admission to the traditional Liberal Arts Music Major. No audition is required for admission to the Music Industry Major, nor to any of the music minors.
4. Students wishing to enter one of the music major or minor programs should consult the Music Department Chair to obtain information and assistance.
5. Students may not use more than 60 s.h. of music credits toward the total 120 s.h. required for graduation.
