CNED 5245 - Strategies for Facilitating Career Navigation 3 s.h.

This is the second of two courses comprising the College and Career Counseling Advanced Skills Micro- credential. In this course, counselors and educators will receive instruction in and apply best practices in career- and college-connected advising that align with the Career Navigation Framework. Drawing on the data skills built in CNED 5240 - Economic and Workforce Data for High School Counselors, counselors and educators will have the opportunity to test and improve their skills in facilitating career navigation. In doing so, high school counselors and educators can effectively support students in exploring career and educational pathways, gaining practical experience, and making informed decisions about their future careers. A-E only. Offered annually.
