The study of various automated cartographic systems as they relate to geographic information systems and how they are used in geography, urban and environmental planning, and other related fields. Students will be introduced to various computer hardware and software located in the computer mapping lab. Pass/Fail Option. Offered annually. LA Prerequisite(s):GEOG 3106 or GEOG 3116.
