PSYC 3432 - Psychology of Death and Dying 3 s.h.


This course explores the psychological, emotional, and cultural aspects of death and dying. Students will gain an understanding of how individuals and societies cope with mortality, the impact of death on mental health, and various psychological theories related to death and bereavement. Course content focuses on practicing the ability to communicate about and discuss death and dying with different audiences and individuals, while also celebrating life through diverse cultural and personal practices. A-E Only. Offered Fall and Spring.
