ECON 3237 - Healthcare Economics 3 s.h. This course provides an overview of health and healthcare using economic analysis. Students will apply economic principles to understand an individual’s healthcare decisions, the healthcare industry, the healthcare insurance market, and government healthcare policy. The course also discusses comparative healthcare policy among different countries. A-E Only. Offered every 2 years. LA Prerequisite(s): ECON 1110 or ECON 1111 or ECON 1112 .
