COMM 1401 - Presentational Speaking 1 s.h.

This course will focus on practical skill building in presentational settings. Participants will explore a range of public speaking practices aimed at organization, audience analysis, delivery, and presentational aid design. The aim of this course is to provide practical strategies for participants to navigate public speaking anxiety, while honing in on building skills to help with work and classroom presentations. This course is designed for beginners, but it is also suitable for those with experience who wish to practice their public speaking skills. Classes will consist of a combination of lecture and practice in constructing and delivering presentations. Pass/Fail Option. Offered irregularly.
