PSYC 4343 - Gender Development 3 s.h. This course is a seminar on the development of gender-related cognitions and on sex differences and similarities from infancy through adolescence. The focus will be on typical patterns of gender development as well as on theories that attempt to explain such development. Gender development will be examined by integrating biological, socialization, and cognitive perspectives. A-E Only. Offered every two years. Prerequisite(s): “C” or better in PSYC 1000 , PSYC 3000 , and PSYC 3001 .
