WGS 2500 - Introduction to Queer Studies 3 s.h.

This course provides an introduction to LGBT Studies, Queer Studies, and Transgender Studies. Using these interdisciplinary approaches, the course examines the lives and experiences of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer people and analyzes sexuality and gender in critical and intersectional perspectives. Students cultivate tools from Queer Studies to analyze the relationship between sexuality, desire, power, knowledge, identity, and resistance. A-E Only. Offered irregularly.
