EXSC 1150 - Personal Health and Wellness 3 s.h. This course examines various concepts of wellness with the purpose of encouraging students to establish positive patterns of activity and healthy living. Students will develop a better understanding of behavioral risk factors, lifestyle habits, and their relationship to optimal health and longevity through assessment and reflection of their own levels of physical, emotional, and mental health. Topics may include stress management, exercise and the environment, basic injury prevention and treatment, and the impact of drugs and alcohol on the human body. Pass/Fail Option.
