MUSC 2100 - Audio Arts Production I 3 s.h.

This class serves as an introduction to music technology and audio arts with an emphasis on the basic principles of sound, acoustics, microphones, recording technology, mixing, MIDI, synthesis, and electronic/computer-based creative work. The course will make use of DAWs (Digital Audio Workstations) including Ableton Live. Includes the use of the recording lab and weekly studio times. A-E Only. Offered Fall and Spring.
