MGMT 3350 - Business Analytics 3 s.h.


This course emphasizes understanding, applying, and interpreting the analytical methods essential to modern management practice. Because data is an asset, organizations are quickly migrating to data-driven approaches to enhancing their business models. The ability to analyze and decrypt vast amounts of data is essential for extracting meaningful information for decision-making purposes. Students will be equipped with analytical techniques using Excel, visualization tools like Power BI, Tableau, Spotfire, and analytics tools like SAP, SQL, SAS, Python, Alteryx, etc., to support decision-making in real-world business situations. A-E Only. Offered every semester.
Prerequisite(s): MGMT 2241 STAT 1010  with a grade of “C” or better; either CSCI 1000  or (INTD 1106 INTD 1107 , and INTD 1108 ); and a major in PACC, BSAD, BSEC, or ECON with a 2.0 minimum major GPA.
