ARTS 4790 - Printmaking Portfolio 3 s.h.


The purpose of the Printmaking Portfolio course is for students to develop their own creative vision in a series of related portfolio quality prints and write an Artist’ Statement to accompany this. Additionally, they will learn to apply for exhibition and presentation opportunities on and off campus. Students will focus in one printmaking media including relief, intaglio, collagraph, and combined processes. Students are expected to engage with the creative problem-solving process inherent in working as a dedicated artist. This course can be included as a Capstone Experience course for BFA students. A-E only. Offered once a year.
Prerequisite(s): ARTS 3707 .
