PSYC 3001 - Research Methods in Psychology II 3 s.h. Students will design research projects, culminating in a multi-draft formal APA style research report. Topics to be covered will include: ethics, simple between-groups experimental research designs, two group designs, within-subject and between-group designs, designs with more than two levels of a single independent variable, factorial designs with two or more independent variables, designs involving multiple dependent variables, and a range of quasi-experimental designs. Related statistical concepts will include correlation, multiple regression. Statistical analysis and their application to research designs will be covered. Offered Fall and Spring. A-E Only.
