Investigation of the principles of instrumental methods of chemical analysis with a focus on optical, chromatographic, spectrometric and electrochemical techniques. Laboratory experiences include absorbance and fluorescence spectrophotometry, atomic spectroscopy, potentiometry, voltammetry, liquid and gas chromatography and mass spectrometry.
