ECON 3234 - Banking 3 s.h.


An economic and financial view of the banking industry. Topics include: historical overview, sources and uses of funds, electronic funds transfer system, functionaries (loans, credit, mortgages, investment and trusts, pricing, etc.), management, multinational banking, regulatory constraints and revolutionary changes in banking. Pass/Fail Option. Offered once a year.
Prerequisite(s): MGMT 2241 , and ECON 1110  or (ECON 1111  and ECON 1112 ).
