MGMT 2241 - Fundamentals of Management 3 s.h. This course is a survey of theories for managing people and organizations. The evolution of management thought is traced—notably the contributions of the classical, behavioral and management science schools—in order to understand contemporary management. Topics include planning, decision-making, organizing, leading, and controlling. Leadership, group processes, global environment, diversity and ethics are also emphasized. A-E Only. Offered Fall and Spring. Prerequisite(s): SoS; ACCT 2100 or ECON 1111 , ECON 1112 or ECON 1110 all with a grade of “C” or better, or BUS 1111 .
