MGMT 241 - Fundamentals of Management 3 s.h. This course is a survey of theories for managing people and organizations. The evolution of management thought is traced—notably the contributions of the classical, behavioral and management science schools—in order to understand contemporary management. Topics include planning, decision-making, organizing, leading, and controlling. Leadership, group processes, global environment, diversity and ethics are also emphasized. A-E Only. Offered Fall and Spring. Prerequisite(s): SoS; ACCT 100 or ECON 111 , ECON 112 or ECON 110 all with a grade of “C” or better, or BUS 111 .
