ANTH 345 - Field School in Archaeology 6 s.h. This course is a summer field program that introduces students to methods that archaeologists use to identify, excavate, record, and interpret sites. The emphasis is on providing students first-hand experience with methods of archaeological analysis in the field and preliminary artifact processing techniques. Course readings, lectures, and discussions complement this field program. A-E Only. Offered every other summer. LA Prerequisite(s): ANTH 140 or permission of instructor.
