ANTH 336 - Forensic Anthropology 3 s.h. Explores the field of Forensic Anthropology through lectures and exercises that replicate the methods commonly used. Students will learn about the methods forensic anthropologists use to assess age, determine sex, identify ancestry, estimate height, and identify traumatic injuries. The course also addresses how individual identifications are made and the role of the forensic anthropologist in law enforcement and in legal settings. A-E Only. Offered every two years. LA Prerequisite(s): ANTH 331 or BIOL 205 .
