ANTH 211 - Religion, Magic, and Myth 3 s.h. A study of the anthropology of religion with special attention on the early roots of religion, mythology, systems of magic, and science. Anthropological theories of religion are applied to topics like shamanism, witchcraft, rites of passage, the religious use of drugs, divination, and ancestor worship.
