Content includes: evidence-based practices for instruction in early reading (e.g., decoding, phonemic awareness, phonic and structural analysis, and vocabulary); and reading comprehension at the primary and intermediate levels (e.g. text structure, content-specific vocabulary, and narrative and expository reading in content domains). A-E Only. Prerequisite(s): Degree graduate student status and SPED 510 and SPED 511 .
