- Developed the ability and willingness to assume considerable responsibility for their own learning
- Demonstrated the ability to solve problems and work and communicate effectively with others
- Demonstrated a commitment to community service and/or service-learning
- A strong academic record that provides ample evidence of the applicant’s ability to complete both supervised practice and graduate work successfully. A GPA of 3.0 or better is required for acceptance into the program.
Information regarding submission procedures is posted on the program website.
Please refer to the program web page for current admissions requirements. Occasionally changes must be made mid-year, in which case, updates are reflected only on our website.
All students applying for admission to the M.S.-Nutrition and Dietetics Program for RDNs are required to apply via the SUNY Oneonta online graduate application, it does not require use of DICAS. Please see the website for the program option for students with an RD/RDN credential for specific application information. Along with their SUNY Oneonta graduate application, an applicant will be expected to submit a $50 non-refundable application fee (waived for SUNY Oneonta alumni), transcripts, a copy of their RD/RDN car or CDR registration certificate, 2 letters of application, and a letter of application.
