History, B.S.

Major Requirements:

Students will designate two areas, each nine (9) s.h., and a third area of six (6) s.h. The areas are: United States/Canada (AHIS), Europe (EHIS), and Africa/Asia/Caribbean/Latin America (WHIS).

The major must include:

• United States/Canada (American) History upper-division courses (AHIS)  6 s.h.

• European History upper-division courses (EHIS)  6 s.h.

• Africa/Asia/Caribbean/Latin America (World) History upper-division courses (WHIS)  6 s.h.

• AHIS, EHIS, WHIS upper-division courses (2 from different subject areas)  6 s.h.

• HIST 290 - Historiographic Seminar 3 s.h.
• HIST 300 - Research Seminar 3 s.h.
• History Selections upper-division (2 from any AHIS, EHIS, WHIS, or HIST) excluding all courses taken P/F, including HIST 395 , HIST 397 , & (HIST 396  if taken P/F) 6 s.h.
