In depth examination of selected black writers from the Harlem Renaissance (1920 and 1929). Seminar examines the social, cultural and intellectual ideas and themes of black writers of the period as well as their relation to the political, social and cultural movements of the times. Prerequisite(s):GrS and 6 s.h. of humanities.
