 |  ACCT 335 - Accounting Information Systems  3 s.h.  This course studies the subject of accounting from a systems perspective. Emphasis is placed on computer-based accounting systems. Topics include systems terminology and documentation, database management, internal control of information systems, and transaction processing cycles. Intended for students pursuing a career as professional accountants. Use of database software, spreadsheets, word processing, and presentation software required.   Offered Fall only.
 Prerequisite(s): JrS,  ACCT 312  with a “C” or better, either (INTD 106 , INTD 107 , & INTD 108 ) or CSCI 100 , and a major in PACC, BSEC, or ECON.
