CRJ 4263 - Criminal Law and the New York Penal Code 0 s.h. - 5 s.h. Covers substantive and procedural criminal law in New York State. Emphasizes Penal Law, Criminal Procedure Law, evidence, arrest authority, and courtroom testimony within DCJS guidelines. This course is offered as part of a law enforcement academy experience and requires instructor permission. Pass/Fail Only. Offered annually. Prerequisite(s): Instructor permission required. Corequisite(s): CRJ 4261 and CRJ 4262 .
