SOC 3510 - Epidemics & Society 3 s.h.


An overview of the relationship between social conditions, disease transmission, and their impact on society. This course discusses methods by which scientists collect social and behavioral data in order to design disease interventions, the relationship between social structure and disease outcomes, and the role of social policy in preparing for disease in the everyday world and under emergency conditions.
