SOC 2807 - Criminology 3 s.h.

The purpose of this course is to examine the field of criminology. This will entail introducing students to the difficulties of defining and measuring crime, reviewing sources of crime statistics and data, looking at the extent of criminality and types of crime in our society, and reviewing and analyzing theories of the causes of crime. A-E Only. Offered every semester.
