MGMT 3365 - Project Management 3 s.h.


This course introduces the principles, tools, and techniques of project management used to plan, execute, monitor, and successfully complete projects across a variety of industries. Topics include defining project scope and objectives, developing project schedules, cost estimating and budgeting, risk analysis and mitigation, earned value management, quality planning, and performance measurement. The course places strong emphasis on practical application using Microsoft Project to develop and analyze detailed project plans and performance reports. Students gain hands-on experience with industry-standard project management tools and practices. The course prepares students for entry-level project management roles and provides a foundation for professional certification in the Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM®).  A-E Only. Offered once a year.
Prerequisite(s): MGMT 2241  with a grade of “C” or better; STAT 1010 , INTD 1107  or CSCI 1000 .
