GEOG 3060 - Geography of the United States and Canada 3 s.h.


This course explores the regions of the United States and Canada while focusing on the interrelationship of humans with their natural resources. It examines the development of land use and settlement patterns, emphasizing planning problems around urbanization, population growth, and environmental impact. Students will understand the historical development and settlement of the American landscape and will develop writing skills based on analytical reports with maps displaying current and historical patterns. Pass/Fail Option.
