EDUC 3005 - Early Childhood Integrated Curriculum and Assessment 3 s.h.


Teacher candidates will study theoretical and practical aspects of early childhood education, focusing on different learning theories, evidence-based practices, and the interconnections among the subject areas, including the implications of environmental design. Candidates will explore developmentally appropriate practices aligned with the New York State Standards to develop supportive, diverse, and inclusive learning experiences within a meaningful curriculum. Candidates will plan across the early childhood curriculum, using observation, documentation, lesson planning, implementation, and authentic assessments to support early childhood learners during a field experience. A-E Only. Offered Fall and Spring.
