COMM 3030 - Mental Health Communication 3 s.h.

Students in this course learn about the relationship between communication and mental health, including the ways that mental health is communicatively constructed. Topics studied include the ways that communication practices shape (and are shaped by) medical, popular, and technical understandings of mental health and illness. A-E only. Offered once a year.
