CART 4800 - Digital Capstone 3 s.h.

This course prepares the advanced digital design student to make the transition to being a professional in a creative field. Each student will complete a unique, multi-part, sustained semester-long digital design project related to their area of professional interest. Students will use and expand upon the skills acquired in classes they took previously in digital creative areas. There will be support and feedback while moving through the phases of conception, planning, execution, and presentation. The finished project should bring the student’s portfolio to a more professional level and clearly indicate the students design strengths, skills and the professional area they wish to pursue upon graduation. Each student will contribute to a group exhibition at the end of the semester. Topics about professional practices such as getting work, pricing work, time management, contracts, etc will be covered. A-E only. Offered every spring.
