CHEM 4270 - Essential Polymer Chemistry 3 s.h.

Students will learn the history and prospective future of polymer chemistry (including sustainability issues), field-specific vocabulary, polymer types and applications (including biological and inorganic polymers), relationships among subunit molecules, configurations and polymer properties, chemical and physical additives, and methods for chemical synthesis, analysis, end-use processing and engineering.
