SOC 3700 - Urbanization 3 s.h.

This course examines dynamic processes linking urban and rural communities. The concepts of urban and rural will be defined from multiple perspectives and theories. The course will explain the origins and historical evolution of urbanization. It will address issues of politics, economics, culture, and the environment as they relate to cities and rural communities. A-E Only. Offered annually.
