ESCI 1000 - Introduction to the Earth 3 s.h.

A thematic introduction to Earth’s materials and processes. Themes vary each time the course is taught, but could include a focus on natural disasters, energy and the environment, sustainable use of Earth’s materials, volcanoes, earthquakes, etc. The theme is made available during course registration. The course emphasizes applications of scientific reasoning in geoscience. A-E Only. Offered every Fall and Spring.
