ECON 3284 - International Trade and Economics 3 s.h. This course examines the fundamentals of international trade, why nations trade, the benefits and challenges of global exchange, and the impact of trade policies on economies. Students analyze trade theories, tariffs, quotas, and trade agreements, gaining insight into how globalization shapes markets. The course also covers the role of international institutions, exchange rates, and trade disputes. A-E Only. LA Prerequisite(s): ECON 1110 or ECON 1111 or ECON 1112 with a grade of “C” or better.
