ECON 3212 - Intermediate Macroeconomic Theory 3 s.h. This course examines analytical tools and formal models to explain the behavior of output, inflation, employment, interest rates, exchange rates and other aggregate economic quantities. These tools are applied to evaluate current economic issues, forecast the behavior of the economy, and assess the impact of policy choices. A-E Only. LA Prerequisite(s): ECON 1112 with a grade of “C” or better, and MATH 1050 or MATH 2230 .
