An introduction to issues in medical anthropology, explores the interaction of biology and culture in the production of health and illness. We will engage in comparative study and consider the diversity of ideas and practices that constitute health and illness across cultures and societies. The goal is to understand health and illness as products of cultural and social practice. A-E Only. Offered irregularly.
