SOC 3093 - Research Assistantship in Sociology 1 s.h. - 3 s.h. This course provides a college level experience for students who are exceptionally qualified to undertake appropriate responsibilities and activities to support the research of a Sociology faculty, under their direct supervision. They will aid in all facets of conducting research: finding literature, preparing reports, collecting data, analyzing data, and preparing posters or manuscripts. The specific responsibilities, amount of credit and assessment criteria must be outlined in a written agreement between the faculty member and the student prior to the start of the course. Pass/Fail Only. May be repeated for a total of 12 semester hours. Prerequisite(s): JrS, SOC 2009 , instructor permission.
