CRJ 4087 - Comparative Criminal Justice 3 s.h. The purpose of this course is to go beyond the culturally provincial view of the Criminal Justice system. Most of the criminal justice issues are not just unique to one country or a culture. We share problems with other countries and cultures but the way different cultures respond to the same problem may be different. Here, we can benefit from the insights of other cultures. This type of approach is known as the comparative approach. A-E Only. LA Prerequisite(s): SoS; CRJ 1001 and SOC 3005 .
