CNED 5230 - Group Counseling 3 s.h.

The course focuses on theories, techniques, strategies, procedures, processes, problems and principles of group work in the counseling field. The course incorporates didactic and experiential components aimed at the facilitation of an understanding of group dynamics and self-awareness/personal growth through group interaction. Students will be required to design a proposal for a group experience which would be appropriate for the school setting. A minimum grade of “B” in this course is required prior to placement in Practicum (CNED 5235). A-E Only.
Prerequisite(s): SCNS Degree student status, CNED 5105 and CNED 5115 .
