ANTH 4630 - Archaeological Laboratory Methods 3 s.h.

This course introduces students to methods archaeologists use to find, identify, preserve, analyze and interpret remains from archaeological sites. Students will learn field survey and sampling methods and laboratory analysis of artifacts from Native American and Colonial period sites. Students will learn how to gain insight into the past by studying the materials left behind by ancient cultures. A-E Only. Offered irregularly.
