NUTR 591 - Population Health 3 s.h.


An examination of the distribution of health outcomes and how they are measured from a population health perspective to identify health disparities and inequities and selecting strategies that will improve health for all groups. A review of the way health care delivery systems, public health agencies, community based organizations and other entities work together to improve the health outcomes in the local, national and global communities they serve. A-E Only. Offered annually.
Prerequisite(s): M.S. in Nutrition and Dietetics degree graduate student or permission of the instructor.
