The course investigates the nature of policy issues and models of policy making in the contemporary U.S. with a special emphasis on the political aspects of policy and policy making. Recent and ongoing issue areas—such as education, environment, taxation, health, energy, labor, natural resources, welfare, race relations, and criminal justice—are highlighted. A-E Only.
