EPSY 280 - Assessment 3 s.h. Studies the multiple assessment approaches used in education to meet varied individual, group, and program needs, focusing on N–12 settings. Special attention is given to examining the quality of these approaches using the criteria of reliability, validity, and practicality. Coverage includes traditional teacher-made tests, feedback and error analysis strategies, standardized tests, non-traditional assessment alternatives, and an examination of assessment instruments, procedures, and accommodations used to meet the needs of students with disabilities. A-E Only. Offered Fall and Spring. Prerequisite(s): SoS.
