SPED 600C - Student Teaching in Special Education: C 6 s.h.

This half-semester student teaching experience is divided into two sessions, offered at two grade levels. The levels parallel the levels of the candidate’s intended initial teaching certificate. To be admitted to student teaching all course prerequisites and approval of the department chair are required. Offered fall and summer.
Prerequisite(s): SPED 510, SPED 511, SPED 512, SPED 513, SPED 514, SPED 515, and EDUC 533. Those whose initial certificate is Early Childhood will also need to have completed SPED 519. Those whose initial certificate is Adolescence Education will also need to have completed SPED 520.
